Now approved for College Credits towards a degree!

Continuing Education Information

     All W.I.T.S. graduates are required to complete 10 hours of study within a 2 year period to maintain their status as a W.I.T.S. certified professional. W.I.T.S. requires at least half of those CEC's to be of a lecture or research based experience. Practical workshops are accepted for the remaining amount of hours. CEC's are very easy to get through our own college and university schools which are right in your own neighborhood.  Nothing beats a live interactive presentation.  Advanced Fitness Skills I and Advanced Fitness Skills II are now accepted for college credit hours as well.

As of January 1, 2006 graduates will be required to obtain their CEC's by completing at least (1) WITS CEC program through a live college presentation or through the at-home study DVD collection. The remainder of the CEC's can be acquired through other approved organizations agencies.

We accept CEC's from college health & fitness courses,  ACSM conventions, DCAC convention, Sarah City Workout conventions and IDEA conventions.  Anyone else must be approved through a written request if they are outside of the listed programs above.  This is a free courtesy review that takes up to 2 weeks.  Please note our store has pre-approved DVD's with home study cec's ready to go.
